The name Manvarth joins Manav (the human being) with Arth (meaning, purpose). It carries a simple conviction drawn from our oldest wisdom: a life finds its purpose when it is given in service to others.
Our work spans the foundations a thriving community needs — from physical infrastructure to the knowledge and rights that let people stand on their own. Each area supports the others. Together they help a community become healthier, more capable and more self-reliant.
Roads, sanitation, clean drinking water, renewable energy and housing that help rural and urban communities grow.

Sustainable and modern farming, organic practices, irrigation and farmer training that strengthen rural livelihoods.

In June 2026, Srinagar hosted the Rishiwar Inter-Faith Conference — a gathering that brought together faith leaders, the judiciary, academia and senior administration around a shared message: honouring all faiths equally as the civilizational ethos of India. The Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, was among those who attended.
Manvarth Charitable Trust was established to turn compassion into steady, practical action. We are guided by people who believe that real change is built quietly — community by community, season by season.
Our approach is grounded and humanist: we work with people, never above them, holding to the dignity of everyone on both sides of an act of service.
