Professor of Hindi, University of Delhi
Manvarth grows from the vision and patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Meena Sharma, Professor of Hindi at the University of Delhi. A D.Litt. and Ph.D. scholar with twenty-one years of teaching, she has authored ten books, guided five doctoral scholars, and carried Indian scholarship to conferences in twenty-one countries.
Her service reaches well beyond the classroom. She founded her college's Legal Awareness course, sits on the governing bodies of two District Legal Services Authorities in Delhi, and works for the dignity and inclusion of Divyangjan. As convener of the Rishiwar Inter-Faith Conference 2026 in Srinagar, she gathered faith leaders, the judiciary and public life around a message of harmony and unity in diversity.
Under her guidance, Manvarth carries that same spirit into practical work on the ground — patient, humanist, and open to all.
Beyond its trustees, Manvarth is supported by advisors, volunteers and well-wishers who give their time and expertise to the cause.
